Our studio is one of the best kept secrets in Belmont! That being said – we run a tight ship to make sure everyone in our community feels safe, respected, and focused. We think of the studio as a serene sanctuary where we can escape the outside world. Before you book with us please make sure you understand our Belmont studio policies which we will not budge on:
Booking Policies
You must make your own reservations and bookings online to attend our studio either via our desktop website or the Mindbody App. You may only book as many classes as you have currently purchased on your account. Our classes fill quickly it’s a good idea to stay ahead of purchasing your packs to ensure you get into your preferred class times.
Booking Window
The class booking window is open for the next calendar year for your convenience – however keep in mind instructor availability may mean a change in a class always check your app for the most up to date schedule.
You can change or cancel an existing reservation up to 12 hours before the start of a group class and 24 hours before the start of your private lesson. If you cancel a group class with less than the 12 hours you will get a late cancel resulting in the loss of a class. Your class must be cancelled through our online website or Mindbody phone app. Please only text the studio if you are having trouble not as your first line of outreach to cancel class 617-484-7711. Try using these instructions
Please do not ask us to swap your class time to avoid fees. You can absolutely take the late cancel of your first class and charge an additional class slot. If you are swapping outside the booking window you will be charged for both classes.
Late cancel due to illness
No need to text us! We understand illnesses, injuries, and things outside our control happen. You simply lose the punch off your class card and we will see you when you are feeling better. Please wait to book classes until you are sure you are feeling better. If you begin to feel sick please cancel your classes and resign up if you feel better in the morning. We really appreciate you not coming to class sick just to avoid fees. If we suspect you are sick we reserve the right to send you home to protect our clients and our staff. We have a small team with very few subs so proceed with caution before coming to class potentially ill or before you are fully recovered.
How to Manage your Reservations
These instructions will tell you how to purchase, book, cancel, and reschedule your sessions via desktop website or on our mobile app Mindbody.
Waitlists
Waitlists are in full swing—here’s how they work to get you into your favorite classes:
- Only utilize the waitlist if you are unable to make another scheduled time work that day.
- If you are already booked into a class that day and you have no available classes you will receive a text stating the system tried to add you however you have no punches left therefore its a waste to be on a waitlist and booked into a class
- If a spot opens, the first person on the waitlist that has an available class is automatically added to the class.
- Opt-in for alerts! Not sure if you’re opted in? Email us at belmont@bostonbody.com for help.
- Check the Mindbody app regularly for updates, as waitlist automations stop 12 hours before class.
Morning bonus: If you wake up and see an open spot regardless of if you are on the waitlist or not, go ahead and grab the spot! Registration locks 1 hour before class.
Reminder: We have a 12-hour late cancellation policy. Late cancels result in a lost class and/or a $25 fee for members.
Checkout our Waitlist 101 for more tips.
Snow
If the town of Belmont institutes a parking ban, classes will be cancelled for your safety and the safety of our team. Stay updated via the app for any last-minute changes due to weather or instructor availability. If an instructor feels unsafe driving, there may be a last-minute change or cancellation.

Arrival
Join us no sooner than 5 minutes before the start of class. If you are not present at the start of class your spot will be given away to another member who is on standby. If you are late to class the instructor reserves the right to turn you away for your safety and the class will not be refunded. Please do not arrive any earlier to your session or class as the last class is wrapping up and we do not have a reception or waiting area.
Parking
There is free street parking available on Payson, Trapelo, and Common St – however they are very strict about 1 hour of parking in prime spots. Keep driving until you reach a two hours spot or the signage stops to avoid fees. There are numerous construction projects and town initiatives leave yourself plenty of time to detour, park, and walk safely to our studio.
What to Wear
Please wear long leggings or athletic style sweatpants/joggers with a tight ankle to ensure they do not get tangled in the straps. A tight fitting shirt will allow the instructor to check your form and ensure it does not slide up during planks or certain movements. Grip socks are mandatory and can be purchased in studio for $16-$18.
What to Bring
Yourself! We have cups available for water, grip socks available for purchase, and all the equipment you could ever need is provided.
Children/Spouses/Pets
Unless your partner is also already signed up for the class and taking it with you please leave children and spouse at home! This is your time to escape the outside world and focus on yourself and your well being. Although we love your pets and kids and look forward to meeting them outside the studio at our events, the studio is not safe for them and arrangements should be made during your time at the studio with us.
Smart phones/Smart watches
They must be put on Do Not Disturb or powered down. The instructor may ask you to leave if your phone goes off or you look at your smart device during class. If you urgently must take a call you must answer it immediately and step outside to not distract the other members and your instructor.
Injury/Post-Partum Return
Please cancel your group class reservation and schedule a private session here. Your safety is our number one priority and it isn’t something we take lightly. Learning the proper form will help you recover faster and make the most of your time in group class.
Etiquette & Kindness First
We have a zero tolerance policy for rudeness to our staff or our fellow clients. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. Our team is tight knit and small, we do our best to get back to everyone within 24 hours. We have these resources available here in order for you to self service your own account. If for any reason you need anything at all please do not hesitate to reach out to us kindly at belmont@bostonbody.com. If you have something not nice to say we ask that you refrain. If you have constructive feedback we are happy to take it into consideration. If we receive what we consider at our discretion a rude email we will cancel your future reservations and terminate your membership with Boston Body Pilates Belmont without warning. We fiercely protect our community of kind and polite individuals all in the pursuit of health and wellness.
These policies help us keep our studio running safely and efficiently and maximize our time spent together in person. If these policies do not work for you please do not purchase a class card! There are no refunds on unused punches or late cancelled classes. Please check the schedule availability before purchasing a class. It is very likely the times you prefer are already taken. We are a very busy studio with extremely consistent members.
